Description

This Cadbury Egg Inspired Easter Trifle is a fun and festive dessert that combines creamy pudding, fluffy marshmallow fluff, and crunchy Oreos, creating a treat reminiscent of the classic Cadbury Cream Egg. With its colorful layers and indulgent flavor, it’s perfect for Easter celebrations. Quick to prepare and requiring just five ingredients, this dessert is both visually appealing and delicious, making it a crowd-pleaser for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • 12 Oreo cookies (preferably the spring variety)
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) French vanilla pudding
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 6 ounces milk chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  • Microwave the marshmallows with water for 1 minute. Stir until fully combined and set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Chop the Oreos and place them at the bottom of four trifle dishes.
  • Layer a few tablespoons of marshmallow fluff over the Oreos, then top with a layer of pudding.
  • Chop the milk chocolate and sprinkle over the trifle layers.
  • Repeat layering until all ingredients are used up, finishing with chocolate on top.
  • Chill for a few minutes to set before serving.

Notes

  • Mini Cadbury Eggs: Add mini Cadbury eggs on top for a festive touch.
  • Chocolate Pudding: Swap vanilla pudding for chocolate pudding for a deeper chocolate flavor.
  • Gluten-Free Option: Use gluten-free Oreos for a suitable alternative for those with dietary restrictions.
