Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 cups milk (any kind)
¼ cup maple syrup or honey
¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
2 large eggs
2 cups diced apples (about 2 medium apples)
½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
¼ cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, maple syrup (or honey), applesauce, and eggs until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in diced apples, nuts, and dried fruit if using.
- Pour mixture into prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until the top is golden brown and oatmeal is set.
