Description
Air Fryer Yogurt Custard Toast is a quick, creamy breakfast made with Greek yogurt, honey, and egg baked into brioche slices, topped with fresh berries and powdered sugar, ready in just 10 minutes.
Ingredients
1 cup Greek yogurt
3 tablespoons honey (or 2 tablespoons maple syrup)
1 large egg
¼ cup blueberries
2 strawberries, halved and thinly sliced
4 slices brioche bread
1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Air Fryer Method: Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Whisk Greek yogurt, honey, and egg in a bowl.
- Press centers of brioche slices to create wells.
- Spoon custard evenly into wells.
- Top with blueberries and sliced strawberries.
- Place toasts in air fryer basket; bake 10 minutes.
- Remove, sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle with honey/maple syrup. Serve with extra fruit.
- Oven Method: Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C) and line baking sheet with parchment.
- Follow steps 2–5 above.
- Bake 10–15 minutes until custard is set and bread toasted.
- Remove and garnish as desired.
Notes
Add vanilla or citrus zest to custard for extra flavor.
Use alternative toppings like peaches, blackberries, raspberries, or chocolate chips.
Store leftovers in airtight container in fridge up to 2 days; reheat in oven or air fryer.
