This 15-Minute Margherita Flatbread Pizza is a quick and delicious recipe using naan bread, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, garlic, and basil. It’s a flavorful, Mediterranean-inspired pizza that’s perfect for busy nights or a simple, satisfying meal.
Ingredients
1 naan bread
3 pieces fresh mozzarella cheese (sliced into ⅓–½ inch thickness)
1 tomato (sliced as thin as possible)
5–6 leaves fresh basil
3 cloves garlic (pressed) or 1 tsp dry garlic powder
1.5 tbsp olive oil
1.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Garlic Oil: Press the garlic cloves and mix them with olive oil. Set aside.
- Crisp the Naan Bread: Brush half of the garlic oil over the naan bread. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes to crisp up.
- Assemble the Pizza: After removing the naan, layer with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, salt, pepper, and another sprinkle of garlic oil.
- Finish Baking: Bake for 5 minutes, then broil for 2-3 minutes to get the cheese golden and bubbly.
- Prepare the Balsamic Drizzle: Mix the remaining garlic oil and balsamic vinegar in a small bowl to create the drizzle.
- Garnish & Serve: Drizzle the balsamic mixture over the pizza, sprinkle with fresh basil leaves, and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, add toppings like arugula, olives, or prosciutto.
