Description

Quick and flavorful air fryer garlic mushrooms tossed with thyme, tender inside and lightly crisp outside, perfect as a fast snack or easy side dish.

Ingredients

8 oz (225 g) whole button mushrooms

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp fresh thyme leaves

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Gently clean the mushrooms and pat them completely dry.
  3. In a bowl, toss mushrooms with olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until tender and lightly browned.
  6. Serve warm for best flavor and texture.

Notes

Cremini or baby bella mushrooms can be used for a deeper flavor.

Add a splash of lemon juice after cooking for brightness.

A pinch of red pepper flakes adds gentle heat.

Avoid overcrowding the basket to ensure even cooking.
