Ingredients
8 oz (225 g) whole button mushrooms
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Gently clean the mushrooms and pat them completely dry.
- In a bowl, toss mushrooms with olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange the mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until tender and lightly browned.
- Serve warm for best flavor and texture.
Notes
Cremini or baby bella mushrooms can be used for a deeper flavor.
Add a splash of lemon juice after cooking for brightness.
A pinch of red pepper flakes adds gentle heat.
Avoid overcrowding the basket to ensure even cooking.
